Privacy Policy

Who we are

ServiceRooster (“ServiceRooster,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product of VentureMob, based in San Diego, California. We build and maintain websites for local-service contractors. You can reach our team at noreply@servicerooster.co.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you submit our intake form, fill out the onboarding wizard, or communicate with us:

• Personal information: your name, email address, phone number, business name, business address, and contractor license number (if applicable).
• Business information: services offered, cities you serve, brand colors, tagline, social profile URLs, existing website URL, payment method status (handled per-tenant).
• Communications: messages you send us, support inquiries, notes left through the contractor portal.

We also automatically collect limited technical information:

• Device/browser: IP address, browser type, operating system.
• Usage: pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps. This is aggregated by our own analytics layer (Pondmetric) and is not sold or shared.

How we use your information

• To build, maintain, and operate the website we ship for your business.
• To communicate with you about your project, billing, support requests, and updates.
• To process your inputs through AI services (Anthropic Claude) for keyword research, content extraction, and copy drafting.
• To improve our service through aggregate analytics on platform usage.
• To comply with legal obligations.

Third-party services we share data with

We use a small set of vendors to deliver the service. Each receives only the data necessary to perform their role:

• Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.
• Neon — PostgreSQL database for your business data.
• Anthropic — Claude AI for keyword research, content extraction, and copy drafting. Inputs may include business name, trade, city, and submitted URL. We do not send Anthropic billing details or admin credentials.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (welcome, status, magic-link, admin notifications).
• Cloudflare — DNS and edge protection for servicerooster.co.
• Pondmetric — our own analytics layer (sibling product) for monitoring traffic and rankings on the sites we run.
• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions. Stripe is integrated per-tenant inside your built website, not by ServiceRooster directly.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Cookies and tracking

We use only strictly-necessary cookies to operate the service: HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax session cookies for admin OTP authentication. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising cookies on servicerooster.co. Magic-link tokens are transmitted in URL parameters (not cookies) and expire after 30 days.

Data retention

• Active accounts: we retain your data for as long as you remain a subscriber.
• Cancelled accounts: we delete personal data within 30 days of cancellation, except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax records).
• Inquiry-only contacts (people who submitted intake forms but did not subscribe): 90 days.
• Billing and tax records: 7 years.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email noreply@servicerooster.co with the subject “Privacy request.” We will respond within 30 days.

Security

All connections to servicerooster.co are encrypted over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). Our database is encrypted at rest. Magic-link tokens and admin sessions are HMAC-signed and time-limited. We do not store passwords — the platform uses passwordless email-OTP authentication.

International users

ServiceRooster is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.

Children

ServiceRooster is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.
